Right of Withdrawal

You may cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason (right of withdrawal). After registering your return, you have another 14 days to send the product back to us.

Return shipping costs are for your own account.

Within 14 days of registering your return, you will receive a refund (excluding shipping costs), provided the conditions below are met.

Inspection, no use

You may take the product out of the box and physically inspect it as you would in a physical store.
Use is not permitted. This means, among other things:

Espresso machines: do not add water and do not run/pull shots. Water can cause corrosion to internal components (including boilers).

Coffee grinders: do not grind beans. Some beans may contain hard contaminants that can cause permanent damage to burrs/motor.

If an item is returned used or with signs of use (e.g., water inside, ground coffee residue, run/flow marks, scratches, odors, missing or damaged accessories/packaging), this results in depreciation.
In such cases you will receive up to a maximum of 80% of the purchase price back, depending on the condition and completeness.

Condition of the product upon return

Returns must be complete, undamaged, and clean, preferably in the original packaging (where reasonably possible).

You may remove products from their packaging unless the packaging is sealed and breaking the seal would exclude the product from return for hygiene or health protection reasons.

Exceptions – Items that cannot be returned

Perishable goods or items with a limited shelf life.

Hygiene products that cannot be returned after opening.

Products supplied sealed where the seal has been broken (if excluded from return for hygiene/health reasons).

Custom-made products or items made to the customer’s specifications.

Services that have begun with the customer’s consent.

Offers/sale items: cannot be returned.

Note: return shipping costs are yours, unless otherwise agreed. The product must be unused (unless otherwise agreed in advance). Any depreciation due to use is at your own expense.

Registering a return & shipping

Please register your return in advance via the return form on our website or use the European model withdrawal form. You can also email us at amro@vellutto.nl.
Send the products back to us within 14 days after your notification.

Return shipping costs are for your own account. If you use a return label offered by us, these costs are up to €100 (if available and unless otherwise agreed).

Return shipments are at your own risk. If a package is lost or damaged during transport, we are not liable. Please contact the carrier in that case.

Processing your return & refund

After we receive your return, we will assess the returned items and process your refund via the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
We will refund the amount within 14 days of your return notification. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have provided proof of return shipment (whichever occurs first).

Original outbound shipping costs are not refunded, unless required by law or agreed otherwise in advance.

Where there is depreciation due to use/missing parts, we will deduct the reduced value; for used items, refunds are capped at 80% of the purchase price.

Specific product categories

Espresso machines: do not add water, do not flush/run the machine due to risk of internal corrosion (including boilers and piping).

Coffee grinders: do not grind beans before your final decision due to the risk of permanent damage from hard particles/stones; any use marks the product as used and leads to depreciation (refund capped at 80%).

Business purchases (B2B)

Different terms apply to business purchases:

Warranty period: 1 year, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to B2B purchases.

Returns are only possible in case of defects or conditions agreed in advance.

Prices are stated including VAT (if on the invoice).

Title passes only after full payment.

Vellutto is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
